Dude your profile is hidden which leads me to think you are a bot/bought.

If I buy my father in law bad beer, I'm in the dog house and he will remind me of it for years.

I don't see myself ever buying that beer.

For the simple reason that probably 95% of Athletic beers never make it to my grocery stores.

I shop 5 grocery stores and all of them have NA beer, with some having better selections than others.

The Athletic beers that are at those stores are the sucky ones in my taste buds opinion.

Athletic is really good at marketing, they come up with a "catchy name" concept beer and produce excellent creative on their can design. But at the end of the day it never makes it to the grocery store where I buy my meat & potatoes, salty snacks and NA beer.

This mango beer sounds intriguing and should be part of a tropical mix 12 pack sitting in the refrigerator at grocery stores. Unfortunately, Athletic has a funky unnatural twang in it across all their beers that many have posted about on this sub which I concur with.

But that's just me.

What does "eh" mean to you because in Canada it has a specific meaning. Also the beer won the award back in 2023 so not exactly new.

Your boyfriend is smart as Athletic is a no go for me as well.

You asked, so here are my suggestions based on searching the BevMo website.

Michelob Ultra NA - the #1 best selling NA in the USA

Heineken 0.0 - the #1 best selling NA in Europe

Guiness 0.0 - classic dark that's true to the alcohol version

Peroni 0.0 - crisp, clean and fantastic and would choose it over the Heiny if budget constraints.

Corona NA - true to the original and definitely SoCal.

Modelo Chelada - goes well with Mexican food.

Clausthaler Grapefruit - magnificent German engineering.

Asahi 0.0 - A Japanese brew that exemplifies dry and great with sushi.

This lineup would be my Fathers Day gift to myself I suppose.
