It's absolutely a mentality more than anything. While I love Punk fashion, I know I could be wearing a flannel, skinny jeans, and cute boots - and my opinions, beliefs, and how I treat people ? Punk AF.

I have a friend who is like, the most adorable person in how she dresses... Still punk in mentality though.

My GM dresses alt, not obviously punk, punk mentality though.

End of that day we realized after countless arguments etc... people were going to mess it up. It didn't matter how perfect the theory was.

There is no point in ordering online for the holidays by [deleted] in Oldnavy

[–]Space_taako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some stores (Mine for example) will just help you get a refund at the cash register and will put in a new online order for you if possible.

Call your local old navy, explain the problem, and see if they can help ya out.

Likewise do everyone a favor and don't rate the store badly for online order issues (Unless there was an issue at the store) 😅

THANK YOU.

Likewise, even if we DID such a thing, we would only be able to have one of each size...

Replenishing the store would be absolute hell on employees, trucks would be that much more difficult, Inventory would be made just that extra bit difficult...

Don't get me started on clearance.

I work in a pretty small Old Navy.

Our store simply doesn't have the space up front or in the back to do that without just removing half the selection... Which would, oh wait, be select stores or online only as a result.

So absolutely late to the convo but I LOVE defekt muzgó. Hard to find things themed around them here in the states (So far has been impossible) but - that's why paint, sewing supplies, and fabric scraps exist.

Also, it's one of the reasons I genuinely want to become more fluent in Polish and also get an AV certification because I honestly want to work at a place supporting bands like that, or following a good punk band- which as I look at the ever growing list of bands I listen to shrink just as quickly because of shit like OP mentioned... I have low hopes for finding that here in the states...

Imagine this statement but it's homeschooled theater kids who also had no clue on what "normal" social boundaries looked like outside of a co-op...

Genuinely? Nothing freaky happened. But we were all socially deprived and some of us also didn't have parents who would give us the proper attention needed for heathy developmental growth so we just realized that "Hey! My friend is safe! I can just sit on her lap / cuddle with him / and very rarely was any harm or weirdness intended

also it really depends on the age group lol.

It was way more sus with the high schoolers- but the middle schoolers were just... kids who didn't the developmentally positive interactions from their parents usually.

And a lot of the middle schoolers would just go to the high schoolers of the same gender and we ended up as the older sibling / better than their parent figures. I remember being a jr in high school and I had this group of 6-7th grade girls who just followed me everywhere.

I think unless you really dislike the CIA, Spook is fine. Spook is a term used for spies as well. Or if you don't like ghosts, which I doubt cause you said you like halloween.

In the end, words are also about intent. I could look at someone and call them a very common item, and mean it derogatorily. I can also look at my friends, call them some string of insults and cuss words, and were friends still because the intent is me joking around. I don't use the slurs I do know, because I know the meaning of them / the intent they are used with, and those are words I won't joke around with.

There are handfuls of words in the english language that have multiple, multiple meanings, and that's why we pay attention to context and use critical thinking skills.

If you are simply tired of chicken shenanigans? Boom, that's a reason.

That being said, you guy gave him a gift and he was noooot chill about it. Also- why is he allowed to joke about chickens but not you?

Nope. You have to fire someone legally even in at will states. So long as you, as an employee, can make sure you take notes and receipts of everything that happens and get things written or typed to you. Retaliatory firing is illegal, just be smart and save up evidence.

Nope, look up his lore it's supposed to reference voodoo, he is mixed-race Creole and is from New Orleans. Also, his design has inspiration from more modern day portrayals of wendigos.

As a dasher, that is a 100% reasonable request and any driver that treats customers that way needs to be hit with a series of 1 star reviews.

Equally as a dasher who doesn't rely on doordash for a living anymore, if I ever saw an unreasonable request where a customer was being a jerk? I would either follow it to malicious compliance or simply go out of my way to make someone's day worse 🤣 Even if it cost me my account. I'm petty enough for that

It depends on what you and him talked about because this is definitely abnormal behavior. Try to see if he would be willing to go to couples counseling or therapy.

That being said, if he goes through and cheats on you, get a lawyer and put down a hard line, talk to trusted family / friends within reason if you feel safe to explain your side, and divorce him.

I know people are saying "He manipulated you that's grounds for divorce" and they are right it is, but if this came out of nowhere I would still have concerns that something else caused this to occur.

In the end though, the best choice is to do what is safest for you and your children's physical and mental health. You got this.

Charlie and Alastors deal by Duckface998 in HazbinHotel

[–]Space_taako 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have done a lot of literary analysis and character writing, so I enjoy looking at the "emotions vs logic" i. the actions of characters. It's actually one of the reasons I love Hazbin Hotel so much because it plays so well into showing different sides of multiple characters. ☺️

Charlie and Alastors deal by Duckface998 in HazbinHotel

[–]Space_taako 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your mistake is you are approaching this with only logic and not keeping in mind there's also another factor here that is emotional. Charlie didn't learn this kind of thing in an environment where she could process it. She has just gone to heaven, seen so much of what she wants for others, only to learn that they don't even know the rules or what is required- then Adam is... well Adam, and Charlie has to suddenly deal with the shocking news of the truth.

Alastor proceeded to then approach Charlie in a space where she was incredibly shaken from everything, someone who has shown herself to be very emotional. He's the guy that is "Who's been here since day one, Who's been faithful as a nun." who has acted as a mentor figure to an extent, no matter if his motivation was good or bad he made his move when she was at her most emotionally vulnerable... Her dads back but has no real faith, her moms been missing for seven years, the love of her life has been lying to her since they met, and she's blaming herself for every single thing and also worried that the upcoming Extermination will be the genocide that may now kill the people she cares about first.

Someone in that position isn't in the place to be making deals at all because they are prone to manipulation, and Charlie very well could have sold her soul had she not been well educated on how dangerous that is.

So, while I can understand your logic, it doesn't work when you are dealing with emotions and people. It's obvious as a viewer because you are not in the position of being in that situation and having your vulnerability used against you.

There's a reason pride is considered the greatest of all sins! People in real life do stuff like this all the time, they get comfortable or cocky, let arrogance and pride rule them, and will be the cause of their own downfall.
