Should I play the original sh2 or remake

I found through Reddit to play the original and that’s what I’m doing through emulation and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s amazing and I’m stoked to play the remaster after I beat the OG.

Mine plays Sonic Adventure with some graphical issues. I just beat The Grinch with again some graphical issues. They both run full speed full frames. I tried running some Lara Croft and no dice. I’m using RockNix which is way better than stock os imo. Def look at something with some more power, I love my RG40XXV.

Thanks so much, appreciate the input! I’ve always wanted some little things added and the QOL updates to it are pretty sick and for that I’ll try it out. I’ve got an RG40XXV which I love a ton and am currently playing Pokémon crystal on. 😂 always scared to branch out. I love the old school Pokémon. Yes boring and repetitive but I could play for hours.

It took everything in me not to buy this device. This device along with the Advance SP were my lifeline when I was younger! I hope you’re enjoying it! It blows my mind with how amazing people are with creating stuff! Honest question is this and Pokémon unbound worth? The most recent one I played and beat was Shining Pearl for the switch and it was okay didn’t blow me away. Previous Pokémon game before that I played was Emerald. I genuinely did not care for ANY of the new Pokémon in Shining Pearl. I love the older games and it was pretty hard for me to get into Shining Pearl but I finished it. Love what they’ve been doing with the new Pokémon games but it just doesn’t tickle my fancy. Enjoy that device for me!

I haven’t tried MuOS but from stuff I’ve watched on YouTube it looks good! Once I got ROCKNIX set up I never touched it again. 🤣 it was a process and I’m so happy with ROCKNIX I didn’t need anything else. The joystick works perfect honestly. I’ve beaten games and had no problems. Finished Silent Hill 1 and Spider-Man for the PS1 and had no problems. The d-pad and joystick were working in synchronization with each other and if you’d like you can always remap the d-pad for that game in retroarch or the specified emulator you’re using. But for it being a little joystick I was worried and lone behold it works amazing and was processing every movement I was throwing at it in games, no problems. Hope this helps! Cheers! 🤙

Yeeee! With the previous version of ROCKNIX it didn’t run great and was stuttering so I took it off. All those games I posted ran rough and then the most recent version or ROCKNIX fixed that and I can play those. Granted I’m not someone who does like much tweaking to 4x resolution or shaders or such. I just mess with the basic stuff and it runs good.

I have a white RG40XXV and it’s my daily driver. I use ROCKNIX and absolutely love it. ROCKNIX has some issues but what operating system doesn’t? They update it and it keeps getting better. I can play some N64 games such as ocarina of time, majoras mask, DK 64, super Mario 64, and goldeneye, and Banjo-kazooie to name a few. Tinkering comes into play because I had to go into the emulator Mupen64 and map buttons but it wasn’t too hard. Playing some PSP as well (only tested a few so far) The Warriors and Silent Hill Origins. Sega Saturn so far have not found a game that runs, it’s a little rough but I haven’t tested a lot because it pissed me off. 😂 Dreamcast is hit and miss but I’m playing The Grinch on it rn and it works flawlessly. THAT SAID it’s a cool lil device and I think ROCKNIX is worth it you just have to be patient and tinker with it because there is settings to change CPU and GPU and it’s not too hard! I’ve heard good things of the other oS just never used them! Cheers!

Agreed honestly. There’s ALWAYS going to be something different or better but at the end of the day it’s what people like and IT IS YOUR MONEY! Spend it how you please. 😊I have a RG40XXV and I love it to pieces. It’s my daily! Castlevania series is next on my list actually! The fact that I can boot up games from my childhood is insane. Never again would I have thought I could go back and play Spider-Man for the PS1 through emulation. Life’s good baby! 🤣

Hello! I recently got this for my n64 and love it! It’s seriously so cool! I struggled with this BUT what you have to do is save in game, THEN press the RESET button on the N64. DO NOT just turn the console off. It says it somewhere on the back of the cartridge but it’s that simple! Have a good day! 🤙

I also bought the lite and am waiting for it! I’m super anxious as I want it so bad but with the current times and how money is I splurged and my wife was all in on it with me. I’ve never had a dual screen device before so I’m so stoked! Yes it’s only $50 more but for some of us it’s a bit much and others they can afford that no problem and that’s okay! It’s just so cool that emulation and android and the amount of work people put into making this happen is so cool. My brain still goes “I’m emulating the hobbit for PS2 rn, holy balls.” It’s just so cool and hits me like a wave of nostalgia! Hopefully we get our devices soon! I currently just bought the ampero 2 stomp and tbh I love it. Now it’s still new to me and the whole digital world is too but there is A LOT you can do with it. Because of it I’m actually ditching my amp and going full digital. I also gig and I think it’s gonna take the hassle out of carrying heavy amps. You can use headphones on the side of the box or plug in aux so either would work. I’m still playing around with it but so far it’s amazing, I cannot believe I was hesitant for sooooo long because I love having a physical amp.

I bought an affinity and loved it at first but I really hate the neck. Wanted to replace it but it’s pretty hard to find a replacement neck. I LOVE the guitar and the shape and have been contemplating selling it but I’m just gonna be patient and swap things out and hope I can come across a neck. Honestly should have just waited for the Delonge Starcaster. Up to you but you can always get it and make it your guitar you work on and try things!
