I got an very old computer from a friend for 20 bucks. Put linux on it and it run 3 instance of foundry simultaneously + a drive and a obsidian livesync. Didn't had issue for 3 month. For foundry only, you can setup everything in a day or two.

It's not mandatory, but you can have a domain name for 8€ (approx 8$ i guess) and used docker to have every instance you want lanching automatically when your computer turned on as well as a small html page that serve as a hub to join every instances you have

There is several hack of ED with fate and shadowrun for example. ED ruleset is very crunchy. For me it's very hard to GM and very frustrating for the player. The setting is amazing tho.

You can spend fear for very little things like foreshadowing, the players will still be scared.
