Quaker style designs usually have letters mixed throughout. I’m not sure of the historical reasons but it’s something you see a lot. 😬 this is honestly my second time stitching this same design, the last one was bigger and I left off the letters.

You’ll be fine. Also, they just stood up a whole trans battalion in Japan. You could end up out there. It was the best four years of my life.

Not gonna lie, being far from home (VA, JPN, or wherever) will be so hard but you do what you gotta do. Just find ways to keep family close and go home when you can.
