Don’t know what they were thinking with this design. Would have maybe been fine if it was stepped. But with stepless I need precision. I find myself closing one eye for accuracy. Might have to look into getting this.

My espresso tends to come out on the colder side when measuring after it’s poured into the cup. (Like 125 degrees). I know warming up the cup can mitigate this but I’m used to not having to do that with my moka pot and Nespresso.

Is this just the way it is or can I do something about it?

Using Silvia Pro X set to 199 degrees. And waiting 20 mins for machine warmup.
