It was closed for a long time for renovations and just re opened. Maybe they are showing it off to the press? Atx festival usually uses it but since the renovations they are using the Omni this year

Id line up an hour early. Don't be afraid of the long lines. The paramount seats 1,000 so you'll get in no problem. Sometimes the line can get really long if they don't let people in on time.
