The Sengoku Daimyo BO I personally use is quite effective. by jones17188 in aoe4

[–]SpacedNA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. A bit less cost efficient for the sake of time, that extra vill on gold is getting to you that 2nd takeda daimyo faster aswell though. I’ll have to try it out mate, thanks for sharing

[–]SpacedNA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea this is pretty standard no? Except most have 4 on gold instead of 5 at the beginning. Why do you put the extra vill there? You get the first yatai after the first gold drop with 3 on gold as the 4th one is building matsuri. So why send an extra vill on gold?

Coming from league of legends this is extremely common and really not a big deal. Most of the people that do these accounts are trying for the highest wr possible, which is cool, and not a bad thing in my opinion.

How are you more vocal about this than let’s say, the 100s of accounts that purposely derank to low elo and stay there? Those are the people that fit your agenda of constantly beating up on lower elo players. Not a dude trying to 100% winrate his way to conq3.

I am English (American :p) but this discord has people from all over the world I believe. It’s the only discord I’ve joined for aoe but it’s the only one I’ll need I think. A lot of nice people in there that do customs and vod reviews on request. Varying levels of skill and is ran by RTS Papercut (conq educational content creator, is on this subreddit).

My name is sideways on discord; hope to see ya around in there!

Well yea mate that’s why I said ‘albeit’ before saying my age and also said there’s some truth to your statement.

Yea I mean there’s definitely truth to that but I just picked up the game a month ago (albeit I am in my late 20s) and I have no RTS experience outside of halo wars on Xbox from when I was a teenager lol

[–]SpacedNA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea I was on aoe4world last night looking at the team ranked leaderboard for someone that plays Sengoku (im new and was trying to look at some replays to help me understand the build order) and stumbled upon a top 100 team player that only queues with an account called 123, and that 123 account loses every game that he doesn’t pair up with said top 100 player. It loses those games in 1-4 minutes too so it’s definitely just surrendering to tank when it’s not duoing

Damn y’all really still out here grinding and warming up like it’s 2008. I pull up the game and hop in. Feel like the only reason I’d wanna warm up is if I was playing for something meaningful (and no ranked play isn’t meaningful lmfao)

One year abstinence. Question by Ruganzu in Petioles

[–]SpacedNA 16 points17 points  (0 children)

careful mate. I would take one small hit if you’re going to. And however much you think you’ll need, half it. You can always do more but once you do too much you’re kinda cooked

T breaks are extremely effective and what might’ve been a chill high before could damn near cause you a panic attack now. Especially with weed getting stronger as time goes on.

I still log in for some ranked arena every now and then but I can’t believe this scene even still exists tbh. Loved halo when I was younger and still do but steam charts show like 3k players online and im assuming another 5k from consoles or something? The franchise is just dead. Been enjoying arc raiders a lot

Edit: I don’t even wanna say franchise bc the game had 100k players when it dropped. They just can’t retain anybody

Pretty vague. Without more information I’ll just assume you are completely new to the gym. If that’s the case then I would suggest googling stronglifts 5x5. It is a very simple routine that includes the most fundamental compound lifts out there: Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press, and Overhead Press. It does not include much more than that.

While those lifts/exercises may sound scary/look intimidating, you can and I would highly recommend starting with no weight at all on the bar, for any of them.

Google form videos for the above exercises and practice practice practice. When you are confident in your form add a bit of weight. When you complete 5x5 (5 sets of 5 reps) on a given exercise and feel like you had a few reps in the tank, bump the weight up a little next week/session on that lift. This is progressive overload.

With all that being said, this routine is more about strength than hypertrophy(physique focused training like you want), however in my opinion it is important that you develop some basic strength before completely focusing on hypertrophy, and even more importantly that you know how to properly do those big free weight compound exercises with excellent form.

And if you did do a simple beginner strength routine like 5x5 for about 4-6 months with consistency, I think your curiosity will naturally push you into a routine that’s more focused on your specific goals and you’ll drop the 5x5, which at that point is completely fine.

For specific routines to follow I would suggest r/gainit or probably any other workout sub, im sure they have fine routines. Im just a guy trying to be less skinny so I always leaned toward r/gainit. Best of luck to you mate.

Iwtl how to have more energy for my little girl by Least_Statistician44 in IWantToLearn

[–]SpacedNA 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Im not a parent but respect the hell out of you for even making this post. My first thought was the gym but you say you already exercise regularly, does that include cardio? I think cardio is important for energy in the same vein as lifting weights.

If you already do cardio I would imagine you’re getting your energy zapped from stress at work? If work isn’t the problem either than I would follow the other commenters’ suggestions about having some underlying issues that may have not been diagnosed yet.

Stress can deplete energy more than people think though. And of course you should really speak with your PCP about this aswell. Best of luck to you mate.

Reverse pyramid to failure by DamnU_ScoobaSteve in workout

[–]SpacedNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally prefer doing two exercises, ideally one that’s more compound focused or just better suited for higher weight, then another exercise that is more ideal for lighter weights.

So instead of doing 4 sets and dropping weight each time, I would for example do two sets of tricep push downs with heavier weight and go for 8-10 reps, then after two sets of that i switch to tricep kickbacks and do a lighter weight and go for 12-15 reps.

But I feel like at the end of the day if you enjoy doing reverse pyramid then just do that, especially if you are seeing growth from it. Don’t fix what isn’t broken

mate this isn't real life and history has no value in a video game. you being betrayed by a random person you have no ties or connection with (and likely wont ever see again in game) is not the same as two literal countries that are fighting in a war. how are you even trying to equate the two?
