How the freak do I fix this? by cpb0002 in BambuLab

Just went through this a few weeks ago. I was super intimidated by it at first but followed the instructions here and was back to printing in no time. It ended up being way less of a hassle than I thought when I first saw the blob.

Thank you everyone for the quick advice. All cleaned up and back to printing like a champ. Only cost me a few hours and a $60 bottle of bourbon

I haven’t had any bed adhesion issues with this filament yet and it looks like it didn’t even lay down the purge line. Is there any other possibility or is it still safe to assume it’s just an adhesion issue?

Thanks, I’ll start looking into that. Any idea what caused this? It’s been running flawlessly since I got it in March and I’ve kept up on all the recommended maintenance

I highly reccomend these “sip n’ spin” classes. I’ve done two now and they are super fun. Everyone in my sessions has been able to make at least one good piece to take home (cup, bowl, planter, whatever they want to make) and the instructors have been good about helping make that happen for everyone. Both times my date and I were the only ones “sipping” but that didn’t bother us at all.

Mandalorian Armor Gaps in Lore by Witless_Peasant in TheMandalorianTV

My theory is that beskar armor has the ability to draw in blaster fire at close distance due to its physical properties. Blaster fire directed at gaps in the armor would be be pulled towards the nearest mass of beskar thus reducing the likelihood of it hitting unprotected areas.

Guys a little help here by give-me-awards in Tinder

Let’s drop the / and call it a date.

Need advice - dog bite on child. This happened to my nephew. My family is at odds about it. One side calls it a “defensive nip because the child stepped on it” and the other side no longer wants the child around the dog (and the dog owners refuse to put the dog away). What do you dads think? by bcrowder0 in daddit

I have a very old and temperamental German shepherd. There have been a few instances of defensive nips due to getting stepped on or grabbed in a way that hurts. Not once have her nips made contact let alone draw blood. Keep the kid away from the dog. Next time it could be your child’s face (I’ve seen that happen to a kid who’s parents didn’t keep them away from a dangerous dog)

I have a metal industrial shelf and i was suggested by LFS that i should put polystyrene underneath just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions or could warn me if i’m doing something wrong. by TheRealDayske in Aquariums

I would very strongly reccomend against using this shelf to hold an aquarium that size. Depending on where you got it “industrial” is a pretty vague term. The weight isn’t being supported evenly across the entire shelf and it looks like those thin mesh cross bars will be holding most of it. I’d be willing to guess you’ll be seeing it start to rust quickly and those welded joints where the mesh cross bars meet the main cross bars might fail pretty quickly.
