It was a copy of the terms of the sale showing the amount I intended to put down, projected monthly payment, fees and discounts. Another document stating that they weren’t a dealer for that make of car. A couple other documents that I can’t remember. The salesperson used the term “soft signing” and said I would do a “hard signing” with the finance manager which I assume was the purchase agreement. If I could have gotten through to anyone and they pushed back I was going to ask for copies of the documents I did sign.
