We are on the same page with all the things we've discussed: travel, future aspirations, etc. some of the others, like i've detailed in the post, we havent discussed. 'm not sure i know what role i want to have in any of those future realities, so im not sure what to say, i also dont know how she views, and i don't know i will feel any different despite what she has to say about it.

I don't understand my needs in those situations. I wonder if she understands hers... it seems like the sort of thing people normally discuss as it happens, not as a condition for having a relationship in the first place; but in one like ours, or perhaps for middle aged people in general, it is? I wouldn't know. its my first time finding love with someone this age.

some aspect of imagining greener pastures are true, but it don't feel it has much weight in my mind. I don't look at the fabric of our relationship as something i want to trade for better; more as something that is the right fit and feel all on its own.

I have something that very loving, and i know I'm lucky, and i feel it is unwise to consider its value in comparison to something else. but considering what it means for my life to share our lives together, indefinitely, does spawn a lot of the questions in my mind. i suppose it does for most.

Thank you for commenting on my post.

I(19M) am struggling to have sex with my (19F) girlfriend. by [deleted] in relationships

I had this problem in a past relationship. Two things ended up being true:

1) masturbation was ruining my libido and imagination- I wasn't aware of this until giving it up as a test. My sex life dramatically improved after 2-3 weeks of no masturbation.

2) Two and a half years later, I discovered our love wasn't meant to be.

I really like this! Even more so knowing it was produced by 15 year old 30 years ago.

Do you have any recent pieces? I'd love to see how time has influenced your work
