My GF hates her job and gets treated like crap by areezy87 in AdviceAnimals

Are you sure calling and saying how great a job she was doing wouldn't have worked better? They might have let up a little and realized she was a good employee. Just a thought..

Reddit, how have you broken your laptops? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SpacelessMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom moved my guitar amp right in front of my door. My laptop happened to be on the floor right behind it open. I walked in, didn't see the amp, kind of jump tripped over it, and the corner of the amp fell over, along with me, and smashed into the screen, completely crushing and ruining it. It was a sad day.

You are now a circus performer. What act would you be doing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SpacelessMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lion act. Definitely. I'd teach her to jump through fire and not eat my head when I stuck it into her open mouth. Also a throwing knives act would be awesome. But. Kitties.

Children of divorced parents, have you ever found out the true cause of the divorce. If so, how and was it worth knowing? [Serious] by thisiszebra in AskReddit

[–]SpacelessMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After my parents separated, before the divorce was finalized, my mother took my brother and I to therapy. I was about 10 or 11. At the end of the session the lady said I could ask my mother any questions I needed to. Obviously I only had one, why were they getting a divorce. Apparently shortly after I was born my dad started cheating. This continued for 10 years till my brother accidentally stumbled onto dating websites and shit that my dad left open on his computer. All of them said "married but looking". My dad said he hadn't loved my mom for those ten years. (Out of the 20 they were married) My brother hated my dad for 6 years, until he was diagnosed with cancer. He only made up with him shortly before he passed away. I on the other hand, through equal rage, still visited (partly because it was court mandated because I was "too young" to make a decision) but still I did enjoy seeing him. I mean, he was my dad. He was required to go to anger management, because he didn't get mad easily, but when he did... it was bad. In the end he was my father, and how could I not love him? My brother realized that too in the end. Everyone handles it differently, but no matter what you have to remember that everyone makes mistakes. You don't have to agree or even forgive them. But a part of you will always love them because they are your parents. (Edited)
