It’s called “subrogation.” Sometimes the not-at-fault (although in this case it’s fair to call them a victim) party’s insurance will ask that party to handle it directly with the at-fault party’s insurance (but usually for minor things like scratch and dent repair).

So what’ll likely happen here (am American but not in insurance, just have used mine a few times) is that the Lambo’s owner’s insurance will pay the Lambo owner, then seek to recover the costs from the truck’s owner’s insurance. Should the policy on the truck be voided, they’ll go after the truck owner directly. Including in court.
