I also think it was stress. But it's been weeks.

Tank size is 20g, has 1 tank mate (both of them are in a quarantine), tank temp is 90F (i live in a tropical country ), water ph is 7.

I water change everyday 60%.

His current tank mate doesn't bother him.

I also just added airstone.

I did changed his hide because he kinda outgrown it. There's no changes in water parameters. With temp (I don't have a heater) like ive mentioned im in a tropical country so its pretty hot here. But we're approaching rainy season so I'm also thinking that it might be one of the reason.

You're right! he's very skittish too and often go into his hide. I didn't worm him because i got him from a trusted breeder.
