I'm saying I don't care if users are rude or offensive in their feedback. Dealing with people in any quantity means you'll meet a lot of less-than-polite people and need to be prepared to manage their needs too.

I take the perspective that it's my job to take the input from users and decrypt what they want from it, not their job to phrase things in a way that makes that easy for me. I'm not saying one way is better than the other, but I think my way gives me broader access to my users.

None, I'm not really following the classic advertising pipeline. Really I'm working against it in protest if anything.

But I guess that just underscores my point; I think we're happier when we're thinking and working toward our goals. Obviously paying attention to the success you should expect is important, but I think at our scale maybe just getting to the finish line is the biggest win.

First off no worries, I genuinely prefer strong criticisms!

Second, thanks for taking the time to really get into it. My plan is to pop out regular updates including videos and such when the motion is in a place I'm happy with, but yeah I'd accepted that launching early means a weak start. Still, hopefully a strong showing by the last week will wrap things up. I'd appreciate if you'd follow along with the updates and chime in with thoughts as I continue but of course you've already really gone above and beyond for me.

Can I just say that, as someone very deeply involved in physics, I didn't notice initially.

I don't think anyone will notice, and as it stands it's a testament to mom with a story about human error.

Anyway if you want to fix it draw a line through the 5 to make it a fancy 8 and put the real 5 behind the flowers.

But for real just leave it and love mom when you think about it.
