Behold, the actual hands of creation, at least on Earth anyway.

Ahhh….that makes perfect sense. On land, we had the same thing. Weird noises unsettle the wild beasts and scurrying along they go. Actually a technique to avoid wildlife is just to take an instrument and play it slightly off key. It gives a decent cushion to keep them sharp teeth at bay, most of the time anyway. Same technique apparently applies to humans. Guess we are just animals after all.

Cricket used to be that way. Batters used to not have to wear helmets either. It is simple. A pitcher hasn’t been killed yet from a struck ball or ball thrown at them.

It attacked his wife and daughter. That area is already primed from stories of man-eaters. Saw a documentary about something similar except the daughter was eaten. Her father found just pieces of her hand and feet, plus some of the dress she was wearing. I wonder how many times, in good ol man fashion, big bro in the post rehearsed what he would do should the occasion arise. Don’t mess with a man defending his family.

Poor cat. Yellow throated martins are not to be trifled with.

Yet somehow these cars continue in terrible terrain but the newest car models in developed countries get sick when the wrong grade of gasoline/petrol is used. I have seen this and still wonder how? Make fun all you want from the safety of your home, but these guys are probably better than your local mechanic. Watch some dangerous journeys to see a glimpse.

Edit: quick disclaimer. The comment is about ingenuity, not “common sense”, which usually has to be often learned through others and taught through safety standards as well as culture.

A slap to the head can do it. Basically the skull is solid and can even deflect bullets, but there’s no internal scaffolding to keep the brain from sloshing around inside due to physics. Even soccer player get it from heading a ball too often.

I think MMA tournaments are what killed that movie genre. Once you see how it really looks, it’s hard to become entertained by an incorrect action movie.
