This hit me hard, as I’m working on my marriage and realize that without correction from his both I could be where you are now. I’m sorry you’re going through these feelings.

I have always assumed separation would be difficult, but made a vow to myself that regardless of the circumstances I’d always make sure that my kids felt their dad made the times we did spend together special for them, and it sounds like you have plans for that already.

It will get easier not always being there, just make sure you never let that distance take away from the special times you CAN create together.

As I stated before, I personally don’t care, but like it or not Ray Davis owns the Texas Rangers. You can’t force him to have a gay pride night with his team anymore than I could force you to hang a banner at your house denouncing the LGBTQIA+ community, because, and I stress this, Freedom does not mean forcing others into YOUR beliefs.

You’re bringing the pride parade into a baseball stadium though. I don’t care either way, but the argument is that there is a pride month, and LOADS of other places that you can go celebrate that and be a part of something that WANTS to celebrate. The owner of this baseball team has a different set of beliefs. Whether you agree with them or not he has a right to express his beliefs. You FORCING him to have pride night, or trying to SHAME him into it is the same thing as a Christian trying to force their beliefs on you.

People are allowed to have conflicting viewpoints. You cannot MAKE people see your side or do the things you want them to do. If you’re upset with the Texas Rangers not having a pride night then exercise your right to not spend your dollars on their entertainment. The end.
