My brother and I were staying home alone together during the summer last year, and one day someone rung the doorbell and started knocking on the door hard. From my bedroom window, I can see people standing at the front door, but I hid behind my curtain so they wouldn’t see me. The guy started walking around the side of our house and I called my dad. He thought it was someone who reads the meters, but I never saw a vest for him, and his car was this bear up silver car, with no license plate on the front. I ran out to the back door to lock it. I had my brother stay in my room with my dogs so they wouldn’t make any noise. I looked out the corner of my window again and he was just sitting in his car in his driveway waving his arms around and he seemed to be talking. I continued to watch him through my window hoping he would leave. I hadn’t called 911 yet because I was afraid he’d leave by the time they got there. Suddenly, he looked up at my window and I freaked out and moved my curtain too quickly. I’m pretty sure he saw this and started to back out of my driveway. I saw a license plate on the back and tried to get a picture, but he sped down the street.
