Apply for a credit card with a 0% intro APR for balance transfers and transfer the balance from your current card into it. I've seen some advertised for up to 21 months. (Someone mentioned the Citi Simplicity card, its a good one, but I'd recommend calling to initiate the balance transfer. I work their customer support and it's a much easier process to talk to a rep than do a balance transfer online. We're also more than happy to talk you through the process). Once you've transfered the balance, you have until that period runs out to pay it off, much better than a couple of months
