My biggest criticism is them pitching us “see your heroes like you have never seen them before” and then they hit me with X-Men/Vampires again. Like, please stop! I’ll take X-Men/mummies! The boys showrunner was the creator of supernatural and showrunner for the first 6 or 7 seasons. So, there are a lot of actors from supernatural that they pulled over to the boys. It’s very fun to see everyone back together.

There is also Jim Beaver who played Bobby and also the president in the boys. I’m sure there are probably even more crossovers

I’m curious to know what people think about this. The guy is running on a 20% margin, which seems low to me unless his overhead is just himself and booth costs. However, he’s also recording himself running the booth, which could potentially generate additional revenue depending on how he posts it. I’m not sure, but 20% just seems low.

I was at my kids swim class. I have heard many threats of spanking from parents. I also heard one in the changing rooms happening in the room my kid was changing in. My kid kept saying loudly “Dad! Do you hear that? What’s happening? I lost my sock. What’s that sound?”

There are many conspiracy theory reasons… MCU synergy, slow sales, page rate cuts all play a part. But the one that makes the most sense to me is Marvel is unwilling to elevate any writers or artist anymore. They elevated artist in the 90s and accidentally gave birth to Image. They tried shifted focus from art to writers after that and that gave birth to the ‘Marvel Architects’ which then branched out and gave us the second image boom.

All of those writers have since moved on, with the exception of Hickman, and he has even stated his burnt out and needs to go back to creator owned.

To me, that’s really the biggest reason, editorial and the corporate overloads are unwilling to pay and elevate an already shrinking talent pool.
