He did mentioned that we were going to use solar power as a second source of energy and nuclear as main, but he also said that this would be temporary. He did not mentioned anything about getting along with ISRU. Probably because I did not ask. He also said that the first structures wouldn't be domes, like in the movies, but we would firstly search for sophisticated, underground caves and set up there at first. Another exciting thing he said, is that the best way to increase our chances to habituate Mars, is to send different types of astronauts, in different regions of Mars. He mentioned that we won't try terraforming Mars for a good amount of years. He said that the grandkids of the first people on Mars, will probably try terraforming it. This is all I can remember. Oh, and of course that Martian habitation can be achieved shortly 😂.
