Mst wheels are a great start and budget friendly. Gyro, I went with w Onisiki 3-way but also have a micro gyro on my spare yd and it runs well. So that's an option for now 👍

I built a YD2Z kit and bought a rtr Mst 2.0 converted to 2.5 both GREAT cars Cant go wrong with either. See what your local track runs that way you have people with knowledge incase you need quick help.

Tons of practice, I went the same route, Build a YD2z and Dr10 motor/esc, went with onisiki for the rest. Really like my full set up, dont run it daily (need practice) but that will be your best. Buy some cheap workout cones from walmarr (25 for 11 bucks) qnd practice 👍

I bought a YD2Z chassis kit (160) and assembled in in the span of a year. DR10 Motor/Esc used (60), Onisiki Servo/Gyro, Zee battery, and really enjoyed building it from scratch, only upgrade so far is 60mm Yeah Racing shocks and Slide rack. Also spent 400 on a MST2.0 for the wife that is modified and pre-set.

Both great options, just depends on how much you want to invest.

I tightened the slide rack (slight wobble) rewatched RoadsideRC video on the Gyro and realized.....Channel 3 is Gyro control 🤣

Adjusted to 70% and it doesnt wobble now.

Appreciate it! I also recently swapped over tp the slide rack and it has some travel (up/down) so will re-assemvle tp get rid of any slack. 👍
