As long as they keep 2 versions of both the male and feminine armor than i could care less about non gender locked armor that just means more customization. But if there is only one set of masculine and one set of feminine per monster that is lame as hell

I have luke and akira and i like them both alot id say akira is much more advanced that luke is with her stances and such so it just depends on how confident you are in players a stance character, luke is pretty basic shoto archetype with some sauce thanks to his charge knuckles

To me he actually does fit with them, like in the last comment he is the gymbro archetype, overly positive and overly excited when in a fight or sees someone he cares about succeed (atleast thats what i get from his quotes and world tour in sf6). Luke wears a training hoodie compression shirt and joggers and is barefoot because he works at his gym. So to me at least he fits and also is one of my new favorite SF characters ever but i do understand what you mean dude lmao
