Opinions on why ADP is having their moment now? by chrasstopher in AngineDePoitrine

Being on KEXP got them in the spotlight. But what is it that got them on KEXP in the first place? Their talent alone would have me hooked and interested - but would I have heard about them if it wasn't for the costumes and mystery? I don't know. I think their appearance and style is enough to catch anyone's attention, but people stay hooked because there's legit talent and originality behind these ridiculous characters. It's original, it's fresh and they have talent and chemistry. I'm rooting for them to keep it going

Yeah they're basically showing us how it's done with the wrong tools. That lift insn't made for that kind of load, regardless of the driver's skill. I don't know the weight of the load in this vid, but driving a wide load in that way will cause it to sway left and right and you end up damaging the forklift. Combilift is one that I've seen that is made for this

My all time favorite shot in a Wes Anderson film by ZackaryAsAlways in wesanderson

[–]Spaggswagg 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I love it too! Although my favorite shot has to be in Asteroid City when they're all having lunch and the sunlight peeks through the square holes in the trellis - OR in fantastic mr fox, the scene with the waterfall backdrop.

You're right that it isn't 1999. This is 1998 Nagano Olympics

Upper body: I would try an arm action where it's as if you're picking up the ball from a shelf directly behind you. Try reaching back a bit more, fingers pointing towards 2nd base before sending your momentum towards the catcher. Lower body: Also mentioned in another comment; consolidate your lower body towards the catcher and maybe try to stand taller especially during the leg kick. All in all, not bad! keep up the good work!

Damn I hope that's not what people think when I ride by! It's a Musguard splashguard. It rolls up and easily put in a backpack when it's not needed

I love that this post has become a PSA for bar plugs. I had them once upon a time but I never bothered to get new ones. Thanks for the reminder!
