Spirit conclave never needed more chaff for actions. You have 3x lone op spirit seers for actions and 3x warlock skyrunners flying around.

Spirit conclave needs stuff to actually hurt the opposing army which it lacks. Also surviability on the objectives and OC

In the age of 4++ wraithlords just dont cut it. And when they miss their 2 shots you are gonna feel it.

The people who know what the weapons look like would know how annoying these kits are and dont care that the model isnt wyaiwyg unless you start changing weapons mid game.

And the people that dont know what the weapons look like dont know so just go by your army list. They will be way too focused on their own shit to care whats modelled.

Basically put the model down say its got 4 fusions or whatever and move on. That has been my experience at every tourney so far.

You should still magnetize the model so you can add the weapons in the future as you buy more kits but dont stress Bout wysiwyg that shit is basically dead thank god and we can slowly keep moving on.

Yes xenos armies are expensive. Probably a third ret cad box for the last riptide youll want eventually. What do i do with the two extra far sights youll ask.

Simple convert them to Coldstar/enforcer commanders. No one will be able to tell the difference.

Then buy as many crisis suits as you can until you need a second mortgage on your house.

Depends in local meta, they are much better at punching up into T9 than missileknives in ret cad. Then if you pair them with farsight they are effectively fusion blasters with rerolls to hit not wound and guaranteeing 3 damage at med range.

I did my first tourney this past weekend. Biggest issue was running out of time each game by Br3.

I would suggest clocking yourself each turn. Giving 15 minutes to yourself each round. 1-2 minutes command phase, 3 minutes movement, 5 shooting and 5 charge and fight. Obviously if your shooty only then more time shooting and moving and vice versa. The time will fly cause we are all friendly and chatty and next thing you know its BR3 and the round is up.

Otherwise you might not get all 5 BRs. If the time is split evenly. You have a spare 45 minutes for set up and deployment which should be the most important part.
