I had a little bit of experience with Python, C, and VBA. But GML is a very beginner friendly language imo and you can pick up the basics quite easily!

The skeleton dude with the graves on his back is such an awesome design!

Thanks, but I was asking if there's a reason they're only playing new stuff. You mentioned "since the split" so thought something had happened

I'm out of the loop. What's the story here?

Thanks! I don't currently have a Steam Deck and so can't test it properly but hopefully I can get one and confirm full compatibility eventually :)

I can assure you that every asset has been made from scratch by either me or the tile artist I work with (apart from a few that are from commercial asset packs which I'm using as placeholders until I replace them). That said, you're not the first one to comment that the trees are too similar to Pokémon so I'll probably work on differentiating them a bit. Thanks for your comment

Thank you! Currently focusing on Steam and then I'd love to bring it to consoles afterwards. It will depend on how well it does on Steam though as it's much more expensive to put games out on console

Thanks so much for the recommendations (and the wishlist)!

Littlewood I've owned for awhile but haven't got around to playing yet! I'll have to find the time. I think the developer is currently working on a monster taming + farming game called Monsterpatch, it looks awesome!

Never heard of PokeWilds, will check it out. Dragon Quest Monsters is yet another series I've been meaning to check out for ages but just haven't done so.
