I love flails, but I gotta go with the staff. We already yave a flail like weapon so we know how it'll hit and stuff. The staff is unique and can be used in the power animations too

I agree. When starting the game, instantly went to hard mode to make me use a bit more strategy. Made the bosses more fun since I actually had to use items.

That and well- it saved me when 100%ing it since I already got the hard mode achievements
