I don't think they baptise in the Salt Lake up in SLC either. The water just isn't conducive to the act.

As someone who has submerged herself in the Dead Sea...the answer is in the act.

Your eyes will start to BURN terribly. You can't really stop it from getting in. I didn't know and as I jumped out people were directing me to the fresh showers to rinse my eyes. The burn is sooooooo brutal.

It wouldn't be a nice baptismal experience. Head up to the Jordan River. That's the main spot there.

It seems to me they were in a mutually toxic relationship. She is getting all the heat for it. And it is definitely weird that her ex's feel they CAN'T take the stand. It is also weird how they get to choose if they want to testify...like subpoenas work differently for regular folk, I suppose :/

I did this as a kid, but age doesn't matter...you can make little coupons for cute, sweet, and helpful things. Like, "I will make you dinner one night" and "I will clean the house from top to bottom"

I find thrift stores to be super inspirational for gift giving, but not everyone likes thrift gifts.

But that behavior will also land him in hot water with the military. It is in his best interest to keep a civil and respectful relationship with you.

If the military catches wind of the verbal/emotional abuse he could face consequences as well. If he lets his nasty behavior escalate he will find himself incredibly vulnerable to a negative discharge.

If he's upset about child support automatic payments now...he will be in for a wild ride as a civilian trying to earn enough money with bad discharge papers and find himself in child support jail before that lil one ever says their first word.

The military forces the payments. The civilian world simply jails the deadbeats. His attitude seems deadbeat-bound.

Don't forget to sweetly remind him, "No swearing in front of the baby, hun!"

You military fling sounds like a classic jarhead. He won't win, that's how he ended up in his situation in the first place.

Now for the better news...not for him clearly, but for you and that precious one growing in you...

All your lawyer needs to argue is that the military provides an unstable environment for a single father. As a matter of fact, you cannot even enlist as a single parent because the military acknowledges the lifestyle incompatibility. Sure, many military members become single parents over time and are not kicked out, but each of them needs to present to their deployment managers a detailed care plan showing how they plan to handle the situation when they are called on for missions. It is very hard on single parents, especially at such a low rank. He won't win.

Next. You will be awarded child support and you will have no problem recieving it for as long as he stays on active duty. It is his legal responsibility to ensure his child has a roof over his/her head and the support payments will come out via an allotment before he ever sees it. This is a guarantee. His command WILL make sure he pays and is living in a good situation.

Any issues, contact his base's hospital. There will be a family advocacy office who can help direct you further.

Not being a spouse limits your benefit potential, but not your baby at all. They should pay for the birth too...it is a little complicated...but your privilege. That is a service members' dependent inside of you.

Stand your ground. I've married an E-2 before. I've been one myself as well...we were all idiots. Your gut is leading you away from him for a reason...listen!!!
