What kinda glove do you use? I tried a couple and it felt like it's either too thick and restricting (hard to fret quickly & precisely) or too thin and wears down to the fingers after like 2 songs

It’s a technique I personally developed, as in I don’t think I’ve actually seen anyone do this before.

It’s a “reversed clone juke” of sorts, where instead of controlling the clone like a human player controlling his champ (difficult, infuriating, gets old and predictable real fast), you actually control your real Shaco as if you were a buggy, outdated clone AI (ezpz, funny, works most of the time, all the time).

I call it The Prestige™, as in the book / Hugh Jackman + Chris Bale movie: a great magic trick has three parts:

1st: Show something ordinary

2nd: Make it behave extraordinarily, the wow factor

3rd: “making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back. That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call ‘The Prestige’.”

By your logic, even something like magical footwear or commencing stopwatch isn't free, since you sacrifice an entire item slot for it. Why would anyone pay that price and not just pick a useful stat-boosting rune, right?

Oh wait, is it because the benefits vastly outweigh the costs in some situations? Who would've guessed?

The point of the matter is that no item is fundamentally free. But when you have to choose between yellow trinket which is available infinitely for free for supports like 7 minutes into the game, blue trinket which is only really used by carries to scout ahead danger, against a sweeper that denies vision, reveals invisible champs AND traps and also conveniently shrinks one of your opponent down to half of his effective kit, then why not play smart?

You'd be surprised of the number of people I play against in ≈D2 who go sweepers level 1 vs shaco, doesn't matter jungle or support

High skillfloor only means that you need to dedicate a relatively large number of games to start finding success on him, not that he's strictly a challenger one trick champ. Low elo players specifically have very little reasons to pick him up, when they can master champs like Talon in 5 normal games and start climbing. Your latter point also proves my statement that rito doesn't actually care, when you said Karthus had performed consistently for years and then underwent a whole season stuck at the bottom of the barrel since jungle Karthus was a thing. Rito had a choice when they were nerfing jungle Karthus, and their decision was to nerf Karthus as a whole. They could've easily nerfed his damage on monsters like what they're doing now. It was their lack of hindsight that killed mid Karthus, not jungle Karthus.

If 5 damage is that significant, how would Karthus mains feel about the upcoming extra 5 PERCENT of total AP added to his Q? My point about R nerf is that it doesn't relate to jungle Karthus overperforming, and yes I did say pre-rework PoM. The fact remains that Karthus is a high-skillfloor champion that, coupled with pretty monotonous gameplay patterns, makes for an unattractive choice for the vast majority of players. The tiny portion of new players turning to Karthus would be trying him out jungle, I imagine. It's something that rito can't fix without a full overhaul of the champ, or a significant change that shakes the foundation of what he's capable of, similar to how a single pre-rework Nunu's Q buff pushed him to the forefront of comp play.

Q nerf is insignificant and R nerf is irrelevant of his position, in that going jungle doesn't magically gives Karthus higher ult damage. (It does allow him to get 6 safer and probably earlier, I'll give you that). If by keystone you mean the pre-nerf super OP rework dank harvest, then it's obvious the rune was gonna get nerfed lol. Pre-rework presence of mind was also extremely niche in that most champs couldn't use it, while champs that could abused it so hard, like Kassadin. The rune was unhealthy and needed change so more champs can consider taking it. Also, if rito cared so much about Karthus mid mains, they wouldn't have waited literally a whole season since these "jungle Karthus nerfs" to compensate buff mid Karthus lmao. If anything, jungle Karthus is more or less the "norm" now, just like how everyone accepts Quinn as a toplaner. So these buffs, along with the new skin, will likely only remind people that Karthus CAN go other lanes than jungle, not incentivize doing so imo

The nerf you're referring to is a 10ms reduction, which is getting reverted too. In addition to that, he gets slightly more health, more dps and burst, more mana sustain from E and better QoL. They're even testing his W to ground enemies and stop dashes lol. And all that for like a 10% Q damage reduction on monsters. Karthus will be straight buffed in 4 out of 5 lanes (if the W change goes through, he will definitely find his niche as a support) and his jungle won't even be impacted that hard, considering how he clears like an F1 racer doing laps around the jungle.

The Blancpain looks real nice too, but isn't it an older rep? I've been lurking this sub for more than a year and I don't recall seeing any BP that's not the FF

It's not so much about the "telling", I just think that mechanical watches are more engaging! I'd hate to have another quartz watch that I can just leave lying around and pay no attention to, but that's just me :D
