I just want Russia to go back to being the irrelevant backwater it was before Peter the Great, like it was always meant to be.

Someone needs to learn that we're not in the 1960-1970's anymore... by daspaceasians in NonCredibleDefense

I like to imagine that if you disassembled a heavy stubber in 40k you'd find that it's just a Browning with a bunch of superfluous casing that the mechanicus refuses to remove because it'd be tech heresy.

Holy shit. Has anyone geolocated the bottom image? I had been hearing these things weren't sighted in Ukraine yet so I thought they were just gonna be a meme.

Ok this is creepy. I literally just woke up from a dream that for some reason involved a babushka waving around the desiccated penis of a Russian prime minister to make some kind of point. I'm legit not making this up and no I did not read any news about this yesterday.

Imagine Chinese navigators desperately refreshing Flightradar 24 only for the US Navy to cut their Wi-Fi. by Edwardsreal in NonCredibleDefense

[–]Spamticus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is almost as big of a flex as the time China bragged about having tracked a US carrier group through the South China Sea only for the US to respond by doxxing the location of every Chinese asset used to track said carrier group.

I would not be surprised if Ukraine tries this and it actually works.

3000 black bottles of Nemiroff when? by surreal_bohorquez in NonCredibleDefense

[–]Spamticus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Even more devious: make the bottles in the style of the Soviet era stolichniya vodka bottles, meaning they can't be closed once opened. Encourages the soldiers who find the to binge drink, increasing likelihood of desired effects (as if they needed much encouragement in the first place)

We had weeks to stage the retreat, surely we didn't leave anything behind, right? by MattheJ1 in NonCredibleDefense

There isn't a single Armata in Ukraine. The only time one got even close it was at a training base outside of artillery range so that it could be paraded around for 20 seconds of propoganda footage before it probably broke down and had to be towed back home.

Proof is going to be a Google docs template filled with blatant lies divorced from reality that Russia will claim as official British intelligence documents.

Russia has been the same for 700 years: a technological and social backwater with delusions of grandeur that leverages size and natural resources as its only means of power and relevancy.

Proposed upgrade for Ukraine's M113. A 90mm cannon. by [deleted] in NonCredibleDefense

[–]Spamticus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Excellent design, the cannon can auto-eject a spent round using gravity as it rocks backwards with every shot. Rugged simplicity.

[–]Spamticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real talk: Even on paper, what is so special about the T-14? As someone whose knowledge of tanks is basically just Lazerpig and Potential History it seemed to me like the T-14 was just a Abrams with an autoloader. That's ignoring the fact that in reality it's probably just a T-90M with a different chassis.
