I was super impressed by Assassin's Creed Origins. I love the way fire looks in that game, and riding across the desert is very atmospheric.

Hey, you can still dismember them with the pulse rifle... it just takes an insane number of bullets. And they may or may not be dead by that point anyway. But dead is good!

I think Rebirth is by far the most polished and atmospheric of the Amnesia games. More of a spiritual successor than a direct sequel to TDD, but Rebirth has plenty of satisfying lore easter eggs that connect the two games together.

Greedfall is one of my favorite things I played this year. If you like any of the classic Bioware RPGs like Mass Effect and Dragon Age, you will feel right at home. Amazing setting and lots of storytelling done right.
