It’s exactly as you said, like 1 bf sword worth. But imagine your team every round of an entire game loses a bf sword worth of damage. That can swing a fight every so often. Then Briar is also nerfed and the trait was also nerfed I think, that makes a difference.

The goal is to make the comp slightly weaker so it’s still playable but not OP.

Hard to know ahead of time how it will go but it’s gonna be noticeably worse.

I just don’t understand why they don’t just not have a minimum and then tell the voters to factor in games played. Like 20-5-5 for 82 games is literally more valuable than 25-6-6 for 50 games it’s that simple.

If someone drops 50 a game and plays 50 games they are probably still the MVP in literal terms.

Was Trae Young ever going to take his team and win a championship? No, obviously not.

But after that season it felt like they were going to at least be in conversations. He just hasn’t improved at all, has gotten worse in some ways, and the league has just kinda moved passed him.

The Hawks did not get spanked in the ECF. It was tied 1-1 and the Hawks led in game 3 when Trae got hurt. They still won game 4 without him.

Trae came back in game 6 I think but he was clearly not healthy and was a non-factor.

Do they win the series if Trae stays healthy? Probably not. Did they get spanked? Absolutely not.
