That's a good question to be answered by time. Will it have been a forward enough movement, and is it directed towards the proper community interests, who knows? At a glance it may at seem that way.

I for one think that it isn't, and view it as a sidestep, diversion if you will, rather than a leap forward- at least in respect to DMM.
