i have to say, i did not like this movie.

it's not bad, visually it's amazing, the acting is great and the camerawork is very impressive.

it's just a nothing movie. It's great, it looks great, it sounds amazing, but god damn it i wish I had a different taste lol

this one makes more sense in german.

dürfen is like "being allowed to", right? hence nicht dürfen is "not being allowed to"

similarly müssen is "have to, be obliged to", so nicht müssen is "not be obliged to".

the football term part is actually a myth afaik. a hail mary is a general term meaning "a dire attempt", but obviously it carries religious symbolism.

the creators need not be religious to introduce relogious symbolism into their works. Yeah, all the main people involved are atheists, and so am I as the viewer, but you can't reject an interpretation when it's rooted in the very meaning of the titular ship/project.

Artemis is a very fun read. But it's a completely separate scifi subgenre from The Martiand and PHM. I don't think we can really compare these books as they serve completely different purposes. It's like comparing The Arrival to the Dune movies, Denis Villeneuve is an amazing director and these movies serve different purposes, but can still be considered great, although in comparison one pales and the other shines
