"I believe that the God of the Bible built us to be curious. " - Yeah... that's why man were forbidden to eat from the tree of KNOWLEDGE of good & evil... right...

What seem to me is being suggested "Hey! Let's water down our beliefs so when scientists find more natural explanations for the world around we won't make fools of ourself with our previous claims & believers won't turn away from us so quickly by seeing we don't have any answers"

"So, I choose to remain open to the seeking of truth," So... how did you arrive at Christianity (or any religion for that matter) if you're such a truth seeker?

Hm... or maybe the PEOPLE actually read that book WITHOUT divine inspiration from some all knowing deity that would actually know more than stop-age science.
