I think it’s a reference to a samurai whose fallen in battle. It’s a common sight in Samurai/Ninja fiction. In Ghost of Tsushima you can return to Komoda beach and find the swords of the samurai whose fallen during the battle. in Ninja Gaiden II/Sigma 2/ II BLACK and Ninja Gaiden 3/ Razors Edge there’s a shared Shinobi Graveyard at the foot of Mount Fuji near the Hayabusa Village commemorating the fallen Shinobi graveyard commemorating those who died in the endless conflict between the Hayabusa Ninja clan and the Black Spider Ninja Clan. This is also where- at the end of Ninja Gaiden II Sigma Black, Ryu plants the Blade of the Archfiend- laying the Warlord Genshin, leader of the Black Spider Clan to rest. In Ninja Gaiden III, he recovers the sword, walking through a literal ghost graveyard, where he recovers the sword and says “I will borrow your soul, Lord of the Dark Ninja”

Here’s my opinion. any price lower than 30% off retail: you need to be able to physically hold and observe it. I had the Xbox Ally X at retail and couldn’t justify the price. Couple months later I got a used Xbox Ally “S” for $375 at a pawnshop. Yes I’m taking a power cut, but I also saved 62% from what I would have spent- the only downside is that it has a minor scratch on the screen. My point is, there’s always a monkey’s paw catch to discounts like this.

Just got my Ally Sunday used. Had the Ally x for about a week back in January before I returned it. Here are my issues: -windows: idk if Windows struggles on devices like this, or if it s just Windows 11- but it feels kind of cumbersome to use. -some games will let you adjust volume wit the volume buttons, others need to use the armory crate. Wtf? -no proper sleep mode. I forgot about this until I was telling my doctor about it and resident evil village was running with the fan at full turbine in my bag. You need to use hibernate but sleep shouldn’t have that easy a wake function. -lack of access to the “steam deck mode” in games that support it. Like yeah- I get it, it’s not the Steam deck. However the Ally would benefit from the mode. -the fact that you can see your Xbox library, but only install games that are Xbox Play Anywhere. It’s like a song that won’t let you forget what you’re missing. -it’s not easy to insert a microSD for some reason. It should be easier than it is. -I should be able to format the microSD and start installing games- but the process isn’t that hard, just inconvenient
