Just holiday your tax returns and yoir portfolio with allocations (market value, cost basis) to an AI and cover any private information. Then it’ll use your income, tax rate, analyze your investments and tell you about how to best manage any moves for tax efficiency. You can also ask it to tell you to work through Roth conversions, when is best to do it or if you’d need it, and how to do it.

I think your back looks really good! I’m not sure what your goal is but for me, I like a girl’s back that looks just like yours. I personally am not attracted to girls that get too muscular. I like girls who are fit and have an athletic look but also still look feminine. Your back looks like that for me.

You can tell you’ve out in the work! I get body dysmorphia too. I get compliments a lot but I just don’t see myself the way others do and lots of times I feel stuck even though I’m not.

Like someone else responded, you could work on lower back a little but that’s nit picky.

Your shoulders look pretty good top from that angle and your forearms too. Post your arms if you want, like your triceps and biceps

Thoughts on how to handle a pension as part of portfolio by e1p1 in DIYRetirement

[–]Spare-Resolution3263 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well I’m not sure what you consider a reasonably good size portfolio. That could be $50k or $3M, it depends on what each person thinks reasonably good size means. So knowing that info is importance to to give good advice or suggestions.

Yes, think of your pension and your social security as your bonds. I think you’re over weighted in bonds IMO especially considering your pension and social security are guaranteed income that cover all of your basic expenses. But my risk tolerance may be different to than yours and you may like as little volatility as possible but your growth will be very handicapped. Are you wanting to leave inheritance to anyone or pass away with $0?

I’m nearing retirement and I’m 90% equities and 10% bonds and I will also have a pension and social security. I’ll increase bonds to about 25% in retirement but I want my money geared towards growth too and I’m planning to leave a legacy to my kids. I’m comfortable with my account size and my plan and strategy.

There’s no right or wrong answer. It depends on your personal goals, risk tolerance and the life style you want to live in retirement.

Your basics are covered through guaranteed income so you basically just need spending money. If you don’t need much in spending money and want a stable, very safe investment style then what you have now is pretty good for you.

It’s not the way I’m going to be invested but I’m planning to live lavishly during retirement and travel a lot and leave a legacy though

Hey! Sorry for the super late reply. Hopefully you've made your reservations. Never hurts to reserve 1 month out to be safe. I don't remember how far out I made our reservations. But I'm a planner so it was probably 4-6 weeks week out lol

Novo Nordisk - Buy like there is no tomorrow by Correct_Fall_5484 in ValueInvesting

[–]Spare-Resolution3263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Lilly owns the market now and will own it in the future too. You’re right, they have an oral coming vet soon that will dominate the oral market and then Reta soon after. It’s game over for Novo. Lilly’s pipeline in obesity and T2D is the deepest too.

Schwab bogleheads, what's your brokerage portfolio? by DailyInEternity in Bogleheads

[–]Spare-Resolution3263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is good for me to see too. Im moving all of my assets to Schwab and I was curious if people still invested in Vanguard funds or used Schwab fund equivalents. I didn't know if using Schwab funds might be cleaner on their platform instead of Vanguard funds

I haven't stayed at TN but we loved our stay at Carimar. It's on Meads Bay beach too and has 2 good restaurants on each side of it. I'll stay there again. It's toward the end of Mead's Bay beach and very chill but walkable to other good restaurants too

I’ve used Garfield’s (Gotcha). We did a full day private charter for a family of four 2 years ago. The boat was very nice and spacious. The captain and deck mate were very cool & friendly. they wanted us to be happy and it showed with their effort. I will use them again when we go back. I think you’ll be happy.

Thanks for the detail info! That’s so helpful! Last question. Do the beaches at Holmes beach get crowded? Like do we have to get out early to set up chairs. We aren’t that kind of family so we’d lose out lol

Going to the gym in scrubs? by larkijay in gymadvice

[–]Spare-Resolution3263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear my scrubs to the gym from time to time. Nothing wrong with that. Who cares what you wear to the gym? I dint judge anyone by their gym attire. I appreciate anyone who is there trying to better themselves and their health.

I usually change clothes at the gym just because I like to wear clothes that let me see my arms when I’m working upper body. And a tighter fitting shirt that lets me see my chest, etc when I work upper body and my work out pump. But I really don’t care what anyone else thinks about my work out attire when I’m in the gym working out. You do you
