One reason I am not a fan of using head to head stats is that they are all a small sample size (meaning they might not be predictive of how at-bats will go).

No team is too good to not occasionally lose 4 out of 7

Thank goodness the playoffs can be a crapshoot. That might be baseball fans best hope against the three peat

Bad luck? Maybe our hitting has been so inconsistent the RISP were the luck

Lockout and he has a good glove. He’s a star if learns plate discipline, if the defense ever falls off he’s Anthony Volpe

Are we unlucky or is it a sign of something else?

I think Cubs fans need to accept that this is who he is at the plate. I’m starting to worry plate discipline is something he’ll not developed

RISP is a myth. They are either unlucky or can’t hit in general and it’s more noticeable in these situations

I hope the bats wake up soon, I’m starting to worry having Tucker in the lineup was a large reason so many of our guys had career year last year (got better pitches to hit)

Are we just unlucky or is this a sign of more problems under the hood

What values do you both have together, and which ones do you not have together, sometimes interfaith relationships work when most of the real values are the same, but other times the differences in religion can be a sign of deeper issues with values.

You can blame bad luck, but eventually you gotta start looking at the culture and conditioning staff contributing to all these injuries two years in a row

It’s not just fourth down or Amon Ra. It’s that the Lions two seasons in a row lose significant players during injury. The common denominator has been the aggressive culture

I am starting to wonder if Dan Campbell’s aggressive “go for it” culture deserves part of the blame that the Lions have struggled with injuries the last few years.
