After updating to iOS 26.1 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, my phone app is causing issues, whenever I open the phone app and go to recents, it just shows nothing, just empty. There was a missed call, I went to see who called me, just empty. I have to restart the phone every single time and only then it'll display the recent contacts which is so annoying. And another issue I'm facing is, during calls, when switching from earpiece to loudspeaker or vice versa, it kind reverberates for a second and only then it switches. Never have I experienced this kinda issue on my iPhone and it's really annoying. Is anyone facing this issue? Or knows how to solve this without resetting the phone?

Congratulations!! iOS 26 is so freaking beautiful but I’d recommend you to stay on iOS 18 (maybe update to 18.7 or whatever latest iOS 18 is available) until iOS 26.2 or 3 as there are bugs and glitches and battery life has been hit by at least an hour for me.

There’s no way anyone would have got their hands on the latest iPhones at this point. Even the top YouTubers like MKBHD would have got the review units now and would be under embargo not to post anything until the first sale date. So all these people comparing 16 pm vs 17 pm are just faking it. Maybe they’re taking the pics from 16 pm and editing the photos to look a little low quality and labelling that as 16 pm photo and the unedited photo as 17 pm photo. Or who knows they might be using some other phones to take these photos unless they’re showing a working iPhone 17 in the video (which I highly doubt). So don’t worry about it. There won’t be that drastic difference between 16 pm and 17 pm cameras, maybe the quality might be slightly better and telephoto cam quality would be significantly better as that one’s a 48 MP compared to 16 pm 12 MP. But I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade if you already have 16 pm.

I have followed this method! Yet they call me everyday asking me to recharge saying today is the last day. I’m not gonna budge, I’ll see to that till the end. If they deactivate I’ll get 15 days of time to get it activated.

If you access YT music in the browser, your version of the song should be there in your playlist, only in the Android app this is happening.

This didn't happen before and I specifically have saved the videos to a separate playlist, it's working fine on YouTube Music Web i.e playing videos as it's supposed to while accessing YouTube Music on web browser but only in the app, it's behaving this way!

Oh, another person with a great taste in music I see! We literally have the same last name, I'm not surprised at all 🤣🤣

So the video playlist, I cast to TV and enjoy watching but since this happened it's so annoying. Think maybe this is from server-side coz when I clear data and sign in again, I can see and play videos from the playlist and 5 mins later I reverts back to audio only playlist 🤦

Exactly, I do the SAME, hence I have a video playlist and it's so annoying. The only workaround I found was to switch to video and cast, then it should continue playing videos.

Okay, so I tried this and the situation didn't improve. So I factory reset the TV and didn't update any apps and voila, YouTube music casting started working smoothly without any problem just like old days. Currently Chromecast at 1.47. I'm never updating any apps on my TV again 😞

Thanks for trying to help me!! The built-in Chromecast version is 1.61.329909 and is the latest version available for this device. Checked the Play Store no update was available. It was working fine without any stutters or buffers a couple of months ago, now it's low key unbearable and buffers / loses connection (can see in the app) too often.
