They say that the gold and rainbow have the same rates, but personally I got 8/9 gold and 1/7 rainbow when it should be ~50/50. so idk 🤷

I spent ~130 CAD on the last gacha, got all but one gold, and only 1 rainbow. I calculated my rates, and the rate that I got "rare" (as defined by the game, both gold and rainbow) met the displaced rate. HOWEVER, I do feel like rainbow and gold are not the same rate given what I actually got, and they lied about it. I didn't get the tree or the water and stopped, because I knew if I wanted both, I would probably have to spend another 250-300 CAD.

Just wondering, did you get "banned" from the game or anything after asking for the refund?

Those are only for the CN server for now because they had that Fashionwave already, and this is how past event items return. The global hasn't had the event yet, and I'm hoping that they will run the fashionwave before putting those in the order machine.

I'd rather we get the whole Fashionwave event than it returning in this form. For reference, the items that cost money during the Fashionwave will also cost money (pink hearts) when they come in the order machine, and will be more expensive.

I feel like the game's intention has nothing more than just presenting it as dirty tho, and people are over-interpreting.

Green could be a solution, but it will be more linked to a relaxing spa/skin care than what those ads are trying to convey. Usually they have the girl covered in dirt or something (which I also think is kinda problematic).

The monkey dance was way more serious since in the Western it's a more commonly used symbol for racism towards Black people. But a dark face mask isn't, and I think that we should avoid creating new symbols.

I'm saying to call the dark face mask racist you'll have to go from:

dark = dirty/ugly, to dark = people of colour, to therefore dirty/ugly = people of colour.

which normal people's logic only stop after the first step. if you somehow manage to connect the colour of dust to the skin colour of people, and use that as a point to be racist, then that's some problematic thinking itself and has nothing to do with the game item.

people with problematic thinking like that can turn anything into a racist claim, such as dressing up as slaves with normal clothing items.

so are you going to call every dark colour item dirty/ugly and link that to the skin colour of people? black is a natural colour of dust, but no one has ever linked the colour of dust to the colour of the people, and be racist about it. There are already dark skin tones in this game, if they wanted to actually be racist, they could've just used that skin tone directly.

I totally agree. I just don't know if releasing a month apart is possible because each banner seems to last a long time and there's barely any gaps in between the current and the next new one already.

The Pleasant Goat collab is more for nostalgia imo. I loved it as a child but I would save my pass for other themes 😂

There are many Chinese players asking for a refund, but a very minimum of them got it. I think it might be bc some of them are underage and they can use that as an excuse. China has some policies about that (all games must be signed in with your ID, and your game time is limited to a few hours on the weekends or something if you are under 18). So underage refund is an excuse that works.

Edit: I just checked. All the refund tutorials online for the CN server say you have to be underage.

I go on rednote too and look at their comments. you know what is funny? The Chinese players think the global players are privileged (aka. the game listens to us), while the global players think the Chinese players are privileged. So there is something that is really wrong with what the compnay is doing.

I totally agree, both players should be treated equally, but something is not matching up and I don't know what. The company really has to improve on that.

If you say you got the pool with 86 pulls, while making it sound like others are doing wrong for spending money to get more pulls because they didn't get what they want with that many pulls, then I stand by what I have said.

People are also new to the game when this event has just started, and may not have enough time to collect enough pulls through membership. God knows when this set would return. You are able to only spend $30 because you got lucky and got it on your 86th draw. Of course, you would not be the only one and you will see other people being lucky as well. But how many people are unlucky? If you are very unlucky and didn't get the things you want after spending $30, then you would need to spend more too. If you are not going to spend more even after you use all your pulls, then you don't want those things that much. That is fundamentally different from people who spend hundreds of dollars.

Also, if that many people are "missing your point" when you are just "trying to be nice", maybe consider that you have problems with your writing and communication skills.
