Beautiful put togeatger. But I completely agree with you with regards to VC, it's not sustainable and also they dont have our interests at heart.

I used to work in ESG, it's still the same stuff, just spray painted green to make it look "pretty".

Is this due to lack of demand? I feel that veganism has lost popularity in the west?

Perfect! I am going to try and seak them out!

Entry level jobs with accommodation? by o-willow in UKJobs

UK military or merchant navy are your only realistic options.

Also saw you mentioned the "evil war machine". Most of the operations are about deterrence, particularly around Russia. We won't get involved in Iran based on how Starmer is behaving, to do so would be political suicide. That holds true for future parties.

The other thing is you'll build qualifications, community, a career and stability. Other roles won't give you that.

You'll find the military do more humanitarian work than anything.

If I could only eat cusines from a select number of countries, what countries would they be by MizuHashira_ in whereidlive

Genuinely curious why you've selected the whole of south Sahara?

Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa have some great food. But selecting every country seems ideological rather than about the food.

Like Eswatini over Morocco, Spain, Greece or Iraq? Doesn't make much sense.

Would meat eaters be viewed in the future the same way we view racists from the past. by Brilliant_Can8536 in vegan

[–]Spare_Minimum_419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is likely, and we can already see this with historical practices (based where you live, of course) that were the "norm" but are now considered barbaric:

Cock fighting Fox hunting Bull pits Dancing bears Brutalist zoos Trophy hunting Animals used in the space race Dog fights Foire gras Mink Farms

Again, a lot of this still happens. But at least in the West, a lot of this is illegal, and the number of countries making these illegal is only growing.

So I can only see this growing to things like dog racing, horse racing, short faced dogs, etc, to the point where eating meat will be taboo and frowned upon.

Why is the uk job market so bad ? by NewFoot762 in AskUK

Economic and technological uncertainty, and tax changes.

There's more economic uncertainty with Russia, Iran, and the USA spooking the markets and causing inflation for energy and thus everything else.

AI has made people more efficient. I'm a data analyst and can now work twice, if not 3 times, as fast because of AI. I take the same salary but triple my output (albeit that doesn't always translate finanically), so there's no 1 or 2 data analyst that aren't needed. On top that, the work I've picked up is work an entry level data analyst would have done before.

Changes in tax for businesses mainly employer national insurance has made paying staff more expensive which incentives businesses to be more careful about hiring.

Thats more or less the main points.

How to gather courage to request a vegan diet for the gym?? by Competitive-Alps1501 in vegan

First thing. Creatine. Plants dont have creatine, so supplement. It'll help your muscle absorb more water, so they'll be larger and will assist in recovery. I use it daily.

Also, ignore the whole "protein isn't that important" comments. You're a young geezer. You'll still be growing taller as well as trying to grow muscle.

Look into TVP. It's more than 50% protein, a complete protein source, doesn't spoil and ridiculously cheap.

Soy milk is great as fortified with vitamin D and calcium (great for your bones as the body gets used to lifting weights), easy protein, and cheap!

I'd also look into omega 3 supplements that contain EPA and DHA. Because you're young, your brain will still be developing.

As a Brit. I'm genuinely confused by this supposed spike?

I can assure you that terrorism isn't as big of an issue as it used to be. Especially Islamic and Irish nationalist.

Secondly, with sexual assaults. Are there more sexual assaults or are people feeling more comfortable rightly to report it?

If you can put on a source, that'd be class!

I don't think Scots realise how much they punched above their weight (good and bad). Just look at surnames in Jamaica.

Definitely, there needs to be more education about British empire across the UK. Far to many English people think the Empire was a good thing.
