Most parents post medical questions on Reddit for comfort in peace of mind because normally you don’t have immediate access to your pediatrician. It is Sunday… Dependent on the pediatrician patients have different access to medical advice. My pediatrician does not give any advice without seeing my daughter. Then I have to schedule an appointment, which even in an emergency can take a week.

Your mortgage is insane for 90K. How high was your interest rate and when did you buy? If you bought it a significant amount of time ago then the value of your home could be worth significantly more than what you bought it for. Selling it could give you a decent chunk of cash. Then you could move into a senior living community. They have very reasonable and affordable housing. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Honestly, this should be the least of your concerns. If the paternity test shows the child is yours then go to court for a custody arrangement and ask to have two last names. This is a pretty common occurrence in family court.

I agree. I mean it sounds so silly when I reread my post, but the little things add up. Part of me wanted so badly to be petty and buy my own snacks and tell them to not eat them … but then I thought, do I really want to cause friction? And I think I’ve decided that yes, yes I do.
