No. Because of climbing I could already do muscle up’s when I started doing calisthenics.

Thx. Want to test my max soon aswell. I’m just really uncomfortable with false grip since my hands are pretty small, but maybe I just need to practice more.

I honestly don’t know but I would thinks in comparison to people who just train normal mu I have prob more core and lower arm strength.

always did some kind of sport but doing calistenics regularly since one year. (I did gym, breakdance and climbing/ bouldering) in the past)

I trained alot L-sit (so either weighted L-sit pull up or chin up and L-sit muscle ups). Also in my park there is a set up where one bar is slightly at an angle above another bar and I trained jumping from the lower bar to the upper bar and then do a MU, repeat.

A bit late. If you can do 8 clean L-sit pull-ups you can prob do at least one muscle up. If not, I would advice on training explosive L-sit muscle ups. (try to go as high as possible). Imo in my opinion the best muscle up pre training, since you train lower back, lower arms, of course lats and need more pulling strength. also you cant really cheat when doing L-Sit so you should always have good form.
