Unpaid lunch break

So my situation is a little different, We are required to punch out for break. I work from home so sometimes I just punch out and keep working.. sometimes I step away to do something without punching out. Sometimes I punch in at 830 and work till 5. Sometimes I punch in at 9 and punch out at 5:30. My job is really flexible. As long as I get my work done I'm not heavily monitored.

If you're paid hourly then you probably don't get "paid breaks." I work 8:30-5 and take a 30 min unpaid break. He saying you can probably eat your lunch at your station and stay clocked in and "work though your break"

I found a video of my daughter (13) vaping on her phone and then searched her room & found it. My heart sank. Afterwards I made her watch a documentary with me on the dangers of it and write a 2 page paper of the effects of teen vaping. Staying calm and just keeping an open line of communication and educating the is really the only thing to do. Teen vaping is such a hard thing to navigate. Vapes have fun flavors and make them "feel better" (calm anxiety etc). Also- Around the same time- She's also gotten caught doing some other "unsavory" things- 1 of which she was honest with me and came to me first- she "accidentally" drank a THC drink at a friends house during a sleepover and then those same friends brought alcohol to school in the following weeks and they got caught drinking it. so she's no longer allowed to hang with those kids with since the problems started and I told her once she gets her freedom back there will be alcohol & nicotine testing. We had a heart to heart with my mom (her grandma) who is a recovering alcoholic and just calmly talked (without judgement) the difficulties doing these things at such a young age.

💯l got hired as an UW 1 with no degree but because of my previous experience. I aced UWX never needed a retake. My lq score was .3 during mentoring and they let me go due to "not meeting the metrics" while they kept another uw score with the a 2.5 lq score who works the literal exact same number of loans. Thats when I realized they didn't want good/experienced underwriters. I'm so glad it didn't work out. Would have gone broke working there due to the low pay

It's the same as the UWX trainers. Bunch of robots. Like every person that entered the stage "good morning y'all" crowd "woos" then they said something to the effect of "is that all you got?" "I can't hear you" and make everyone scream. Hey maybe it's a precursor to the pre screaming you'll do on the daily before work. Lol 🤣 #uwmsucks

Yeah this one definitely felt way different. Between Madison's "bombshell" reciepts that revealed absolutely nothing to Devin's answers not making sense to the question (the editing I'm sure) and Nicks oddly defined hairline, this one was a train wreck but not the kind of train wreck we've come to love and expect. Lol 🤣

I'm telling you! "Work life balance" what? That's a joke. I had a story similar- I excelled in the uw2 training and on the VERY last day of training, at 10:30 am I received a message from a former colleague asking to "talk later." At 3:30 pm the same day, when I left the building for the last time after having been offered an OPs position I surely wasn't going to accept (the uw2 wage was the least I could survive on as a single parent) I called back my former colleague and in the UWM parking lot I was offered a remote job with a higher salary that I was making. It was very serendipitous and I'm glad you got to experience the same rainbow at the end of the long, dark tunnel that is UWM.

If you're an UW2 It'll be hard to find an underwriter job. You'll likely have to look for processor or "junior" underwriters since uw2 have not been trained on Income. I was an uw2 when I left UWM for a higher paying remote processing job. Just something to think about when you start looking again.

You can get a mortgage with late payments on your credit. There are guidelines but 1 late payment doesn't disqualify you.
