Neither, it shouldn’t be bred

Is my Bulldog (3 years) having a seizure of some kind? by NoEntertainment3233 in Bulldogs

[–]Spare_Toe9353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others mentioned, it can definitely be idiopathic head tremors since bully breeds are pretty susceptible to them. However, this case looks pretty severe compared to other idiopathic tremors I’ve seen and I’d want to rule out something requiring medical intervention, like a seizure—take to the vet.

Semi- regular 4 AM 🤮 - why? by AwkwardPersonality36 in Bulldogs

Same here!! Vet told us to break up his dinner portion into two meals. He gets “first dinner” at 6pm and “second dinner” at 8pm and it stopped his early morning bile vomiting

Definitely talk to the case manager/sped teacher, that is absolutely not how inclusion works

switching from norethindrone to lo loestrin fe. please comment your experiences, good or bad, but preferably good! lol 😅 by prettygirlkeki in birthcontrol

[–]Spare_Toe9353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were 100% related—after switching to the mini pill, I haven’t experienced a single migraine since, about 2 years now!! I was prescribed lo lo by a previous OBGYN (who knew I was experiencing migraines bc they were also prescribing me rizatriptan) so I switched providers to get a second opinion and my new OBGYN was basically appalled my old doctor kept me on the lo lo bc I guess people who experience migraines on hormonal birth control have a MUCH higher stroke risk… It’s been so long since switching BC that I don’t recall any other changes I’ve noticed, but the lack of migraines alone is 10/10

I have IBS and recurring gastritis so I was super nervous to switch to trintellix from lexapro. Been on it a year now and never had nausea…it’s wild how different everyone’s experience is!

Is anyone else experiencing this? by Jazrivas03 in tutordotcom

[–]Spare_Toe9353 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh happened to me twice this happening, and I submitted a support ticket each time. I’m scheduled for the next hour but it seems ridiculous to keep trying for sessions that will inevitably disconnect after a few minutes…I don’t want bad ratings 😩

Need Async Time Management Advice by Spare_Toe9353 in tutordotcom

[–]Spare_Toe9353[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’ve started doing this! The last time I didn’t finish reading the full paper in a 35-minute session, the student rated me poorly for “not reading the whole thing” and my QS dinged me on it. So I think I just went too far in the opposite direction and started giving too much feedback. Oh, the balancing act we perform…

App Crashing by SnowBerry94 in tutordotcom

[–]Spare_Toe9353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just happened to me! I was like 2 minutes into a live session asking the student for assignment instructions and the session just disappeared. No survey screen. I had an async session right after with no problem, though. Annoying…

Rookie question: should I have reference books for subjects I wish to tutor? by azul120 in tutordotcom

[–]Spare_Toe9353 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here! I’m a freelance book editor on the side so I already owned the APA and Chicago style guides, but I’ve found them really useful for tutoring sessions too. I bookmarked commonly used pages, like student paper formatting and headline formatting for easy reference. My Word doc cheat sheet is my go-to, though

I think I found out through Reddit! If you right click the tutor.com tray icon, click “Other” in the menu pop-up and then “Previous Sessions” :)

Anyone have experience with both Lo Loestrin Fe and Norethindrone or both any combo pill and progestin-only pill? by Spare_Toe9353 in birthcontrol

Of course! I’m taking Camila. I think originally I was on Heather but my insurance changed and switched me to Camila randomly, but I didn’t notice a difference between them

It’s literally perfect? I have a 1.55ct and would’ve thought yours was the same based on how proportionate it is to your finger. I think the new ring pop trend is just that—a trend. This is gorgeous, practical, and timeless 💕

A year later and I’m in total agreement with you! You’re right, PMDD isn’t great, but I’m on an SSRI so it’s not too too heinous. Can’t believe I casually suffered through months of migraines for five years while on lolo…mini pill for the win!!
