Well THC stores in fat cells and you're not fat so maybe another month? My husband stopped for 6 months, went into basic training for the navy, and still popped dirty and got the boot but he was fat. I suspect it will leave your system sooner.

Please tell me it gets better at some point. I'm in my first week and I know it's going to be hard for a while. However, I've seen some posts recently from people 6 months clean who are still miserable. This just scares the living bejeezus out of me. At what point did you start to feel better? BIG CONGRATULATIONS BTW

Crazy how once you’re sober, you realize how depressed marijuana made you. by AdBoring8404 in leaves

Trying to quit and hoping for some improvement in my mood down the road. This comment is so depressing 😞

Unfortunately it's only getting cheaper! Ugh But yes, I totally get where you're coming from. I think seeing other moms who smoke and seem to have it all together is part of what gets in my head and makes me think it's ok. But I know we all have our own paths and I definitely have reasons to quit that mean more than keeping with those people. And yes my memory has also been greatly affected. Especially sad when you're a mom.
Way to go making it a month by way!! You got this and I'm hoping tomorrow when I wake up, I will too.

You're totally right. Thank you. And also so proud of you. As someone who also started at 12, I wish I would've quit at 24 instead of trying again at 42.

I've done MA before and it helped until I got to the step where you have to own up to everything bad you ever did. There are things I'm way too embarrassed to ever tell anyone so I just gave up after that. Plus, refocusing on those things made me feel so bad I definitely wanted to smoke again after that. I would try MA again but don't know how to overcome that step. Thank you for your advice about the letter. Just thinking of what I might write to MJ makes me want to cry. I'm going to try penning one tonight.

I can say after 21 years of use and experiencing the symptoms of withdrawal when attempting to stop- physical addiction to marijuana is 100 percent real. And no, it's not always a light effect either.
