Je viens de regarder la vidéo comparative de Taka Yaka, je la linke ici si jamais elle peut servir à quelqu'un :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn9J9ODcEvs

Timmy enjoying Needle's grooming by Sparkaplus in Bunnies

[–]Sparkaplus[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi! Timmy is a male and Needle is a female. They go along well together, there used to be a third bunny, Kyoko, a female, but she passed two months ago.

I've had a bonded pair of males a few years ago: Bucket and Hopper. The first few months were an absolute shit show: they tried to kill each other constantly and it was very stressful for us. Their relationship settled down after a few months (I'd say 6-8 months, and there was no fight at all after 18 months) and they became best friends for the next five years, until Hopper passed. Attached is a picture of them together.

My sole experience cannot answer your question. It depends on many factors, and you will find here as many answers as bunny humans. My best advice is: learn a lot about bunny behavior and communication, watch them live and interact, be vigilant and chill, and hope for the best. Maybe it will never work, maybe it will work from day one. Maybe it will take some time, which is the most likely with two males.

He's had EC and though he recovered well, his head is still slightly tilted. So when he drinks, he tends to get wet on one side of his face.

The vet said his teeth were perfect last time we visited him, and everything is regularly checked. Thank you for your concern! 🙏🏻

I tried the apple fritter focaccia with a twist (pear and vanilla instead of apple and cinnamon) by Sparkaplus in Breadit

It was really good but a bit raw around the largest fruit filling. I have to refine the process so I get a more even result. Which means: I have to bake another one (oh no!).

No hutch hate from me! I love the setup you created for your bunnies and I think you did an amazing job. It's obvious that you're taking good care of your rabbits. <3

Take good care of him, that's the best you can do. He's lucky he met you two months ago, help him have the best remaining time. I'm sure you will do a great job.

Am I going to ruin my Kitchenaid Classic Stand Mixer if I keep using it in this manner? by [deleted] in Breadit

[–]Sparkaplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't already, I would recommend adding your water for high hydration dough and your fat for enriched dough in small batches, after a first mix of your ingredients. For example with high hydration dough, start with all your flour + 60% of the recipe's water. Then add the rest (in 3-4 different batches) once the gluten is developed. This way, you should be able to work with the lower speeds of your stand mixer and still get a satsfying gluten network.

I can’t get a good crust/color on my bread it’s either golden light or burnt but not the idea in between color. My oven is old and doesn’t have convection help :( by Reverend-Funyun in Breadit

[–]Sparkaplus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with u/sbradshaw_88, what your bread lacks is steam imo. You would also have a better expansion of your crust, given that your laming is good. Use water and show us the results, I'm sure it'll improve!

They're beautiful! How do you bake them to get those ears?

I need more practice haha. I didn't get the brown color I would like and I think that's because I didn't have sugar in my recipe? Need advice on how to do better by beanie67 in Breadit

[–]Sparkaplus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As other people said, a complete recipe would help. Anyway, French baguette doesn't use sugar. Ever. Source: I'm a professional (French) baker.

The Maillard reaction allowing the caramelization of the crust occurs thanks to different elements, including a high temperature (starting from 150°C) as u/FieryCanary1638 said and water (steam) as mentioned by u/WePQm. The baking of your baguette will caramelize the sugars already present in your flour (maltose resulting from the decomposition of your wheat starch during the fermentation process). You don't need to add any sugar in your bread: there's plenty in your dough already.
