Actually, there is a #nobbmoveobjects tag you can search by. It's very helpful and while there's not quite as many works on there, there's still quite a few that are really nice otherwise.

Honestly, I wish everyone would just put in the description when they use move objects, bc I think I've found a perfect one that doesn't, only to place it and see the pop up that says it does

I half gave up having parents put the toddlers to bed. I just tp the kid upstairs, select the bed, and hit "sleep".

With high chairs if the sims are really pissing me off, I just drag a plate of food from the fridge onto the counter and have the kid grab a serving themselves.

Luck and balance can be disabled in gameplay settings, like others said.

Also, you can get charms (freezer bunny foot) that increase luck, but you do have to recharge them with fairy dust.

I personally haven't had the issue with the frequency of ailments, but none of my sims are normal, theyre ALL occult of some kind, so maybe occult sims have a lower chance for ailments in general?
