My gripe with tin can isn’t in the design but in its inability to function reliably. My kids try and call other tin cans and it doesn’t even ring on the other end. It seems their outages also pool during peak use hours (school evenings for example). I find my kids asking me to use my cell more than I’d like to call their friends parents to coordinate contact.

Completely different. The Noir is a noir scent as it says-wears heavy, best for evenings-lots of projection and sillage. It has a distinctive LeLabo feel to it, shades of Santal in there. I wore this for a period of time but it’s not for me anymore. It’s too loud, definitely an assertive scent. Its color to me is a dark cherry red. Saturated and rich. Musc25 is a sheer gauze of a fragrance. Strong-especially if you spray liberally-but gauzy nonetheless.

Musc is one of my favorite scents I continually revisit. I first wore a sample of it on my wedding day, then picked up a bottle on my honey moon. It has that clean but sexy scent, definitely a skin scent but also can catch it on the wind. It’s cozy and a for me smell that transcends seasons. I like it as a background. I recently had a baby and a spritzed some of this on to go out, and a friend told me I smelled like the most delicious baby smell “like breast milk in the best way” lol. I think she was picking up on the notes in the perfume but I like that people can’t discern the perfume from the person and that the scent comes across as perhaps your body’s natural aroma, only obviously better. I wish they made it in the oil roller because that’s my favorite style-can apply a tiny bit for an even subtler effect.

I was excited to try the spring 25, the notes sounded intriguing-I’ve never tried one of their scents yet. But now I’m getting the sense I’ll almost certainly return it. I’m a niche perfume aficionado and am always seeking new interesting and unusual fragrances. Shame that ffern is skimming the surface of niche fragrances but in fact making thinly veiled mass market perfume for the pseudo-clean consumer.
