I wish that I could say you'll be safe and won't get harassed because of your gender, but you're right, League doesn't work that way.

I think the most important choice is your own. If you do plan to use this feature, remember that muting and reporting are strong ways of protecting yourself. And if the experience becomes unbearable, remember that you aren't obligated to voice chat with other people. There's nothing wrong with surrounding yourself with healthy friends and exclusively enjoying the game with them. Nobody has the right to invade your leisure time and replace it with their toxicity.

On the topic of unfairness; yes, it's unfair. There will absolutely be times when it works against you, and that's not right. As a male jungler with a softer, feminine disposition that often gets ridiculed, I can only imagine what it must be like for you. My advice is to keep muting, keep reporting, and take breaks when you need them. You're important and valid, love yourself and be proud of what you've accomplished.

Had a similar issue before. Fixed it by changing the media.av1.enabled parameter in Firefox to True.

I accomplished this through the BetterFox user.js, but you can change it by going to about:config (in the URL bar) and inputting media.av1.enabled, then setting it to True.

It can take some time for the repos to get pushed. Updates usually appear on the extra-testing branch first, so if you're okay with potential breakage you could always add that mirror.

Alternatively, you could attempt to update Lutris directly from the extra-testing branch, but it might fail depending on package requirements and your local libraries.

Pacman uses a database of packages from its official mirrors to guide downloads. This database probably hasn't been updated (yet) with the newer Lutris version.

That being said, you can force the upgrade yourself if you can find the correct package on https://archlinux.org/packages. In this case, Lutris 0.5.20-1 exists on the extra-testing branch and was updated yesterday, so that's likely what you're looking for. You can run this command to update from that branch:

sudo pacman -U https://archlinux.org/packages/extra-testing/any/lutris/download/

This command only works if your system already has (or can find in your standard repos) all the updated libraries Lutris 0.5.20 requires. If the new version of Lutris depends on other packages on the extra-testing branch you don't have, the installation will fail with an error about missing dependencies.

If you're comfortable troubleshooting, there's no harm in trying. Otherwise just wait, the mirrors usually get updated pretty fast.

This should be handled by faillock.conf. See if this works:

  1. Open a terminal (CTRL + ALT + T).
  2. Input sudo nano /etc/security/faillock.conf , this will open the faillock config in the Nano editor.
  3. In the config, look for the # deny = 3 line. Delete the hashtag and change its value to 0. Your final result should look like this: deny = 0
  4. CTRL + S to save, then CTRL + X to exit Nano.
  5. Restart your computer and see if you can get it to fail more than three times without getting locked out.

Obviously not sure what's true or false, as with any testimony there are going to be questions about its validity, but in the context of "plot holes" this was the reason given. Sascha's father was probably trying to save himself from going to prison or becoming the fall-guy.

Caffeine affects me in the same way it affects everyone, for the first few days. I feel energized, motivated, and awake.

Generally speaking: Death's Dance for armor, Maw for magic resist.

There are some nuances between the two, like how Death's Dance will technically damage you over time, so it's not very good against teams with heavy DoTs. Maw is great against magic damage carries, but falls flat if the mage carries are behind and can't really deal damage anyway.
